I am a huge fan of all things Donna Hay and this beautiful book is no exception. She says in the introduction, "anyone who knows me will tell you baking is my, it's the way I nuture the people I love". This couldn't be any more true for me, especially given my gluten-free, dairy-free diet that is irrelevant in my decision to bake weekly.

With an entire chapter on chocolate, the book will have you drooling by page 12. Unique combinations of ingredients (dark chocolate pretzel cake, anyone?) and many relatively simple recipes earned this thick, heavy hard cover book a permanent spot in my kitchen.
